Mr. C. R. Petrie and Mr ; A. S. Richards, M.P.'s, left for Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., chairman of the Railways Appeal Board, arrived from Wellington on Saturday, morning. The Hon. H. G. R. Mason, AttornevGeneral and Minister of Justice, left for Wellington last night by the limited express. The Hon. W. E. Barnard. Speaker of the House of Representatives, returned to Wellington by the limited express last night. The Hon. F. E. Lark. M.L.C., who arrived in Auckland on Saturday morning, will return to Wellington to-night by the limited express. Mr. L. C. Tipper, of Birmingham, the oldest member of the Central Chamber of Agriculture of England, who is paying a brief visit to Auckland, will leave by the Niagara for Vancouver to-morrow. Dr. P. C. Anderson, medical superintendent of the Pukeora Sanatorium, has tendered his resignation to the Waipawa Hospital Board. He will leare shortly for England- for further study in tuberculosis surgery. The Rev. E. D. Patchett, formerly of Epsom, commenced his ministry at Whitelev Memorial Methodist Church, New Plymouth, yesterday. Mr. Patchett was last week inducted into the pastorate of the church, the superintendency of the New Plymouth circuit and the chairmanship of the TaranakiWanganui district.
