NEW AWARD AGREEMENT [by TKI-.KGH.VI'H —PKKSS association] WELLIXGTOX, Saturday That a complete ayeomont on all points was reached in conciliation proceedings in connection with the dispute between the New Zealand Timber Workers' Union and the Dominion Federated Sinvmillers' Association was announced in Iho Second Court of Arbitration. Jt was stated that the new award would take the place of the awards previously held by nino separate unions More than 8000 workers were concerned. The scope of the award would include the whole Dominion, except Canterbury, which had a separate award, and Otago, which had a dispute before the conciliation court. Mr. Justice Hunter said the applications for exemption could be brought before the Court when it sat at tlio various centres.
