THE MINING MARKET LEVELS EASE SLIGHTLY UNDERTONE REMAINS FIRM There was little alteration in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Kxchamge yesterday after the general improvement shown the previous day. Quotations eased slightly, but the undertone remained firm. Offers for Marthas and North Broken Hills were higher, but buyers for most other issues reduced their limits. In several cases sellers also made slight concessions. Mount Morgans, in the only transaction recorded, were firm on the previous sale, but offers were later withdrawn.
