AMERICAN LADIES' TEAM Arrangements were made for the reception of the United States ladies' hockey team, which will' pass through Auckland on the Mariposa on a visit to Australia, at a meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association, The team, which is arriving to-morrow, will be entertained at morning tea at the Mount Eden tea jciosk, to be followed by a sight-seeing drive to Titirangi. The visitors will meet an Auckland team in a practice match lo be held at the Teachers' Training College grounds at 2.30 p.m. Mrs. R. N. Hamlin has been appointed roferee. Further business in connection with the visit of the All-England ladies' hockey eleven was dealt with and arrangements are in hand for an Auckland provincial team to meet the team at Eden Park on June 11. ko test match will be played in Auckland.
