QUICK SETTLEMENT
COOL STORES DISPUTE CONCILIATION AGREEMENT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON, Tuesday What was described by the conciliation commissioner, Mr. M. J. Reardon, as a record settlement was made in the Wellington and Taranaki cool stores dispute to-day. The entire proceedings, including the signing of documents, occupied well under half an hour. The only point left to the Court was determination of the term of the award. Hours were fixed at 44 and the_ rates of pay ranged from £4 ]os to £•"> 10s, with itourlv rates from 2s 4d to 2s od.
