WHANGAREI RATES
NO ALTERATION MADE [from OUR own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Saturday The Whangarei County Council lias decided to strike, the same rates as last year. The chairman, Mr. J. A. S. MacKay, pointed out that although there was a substantial credit balance in the various riding accounts, £1 now only did the same work of 10s a year ago.
