EXPLOSION AT SEA GREEK VESSSEL'S FATE RESCUERS STANDING BY SOME OF CREW SAVED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received April 10, 7.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 0 The steamer Inverlee has reported to New York by radio that the Greek ship Mount Kyllene has been broken in two by an explosion, which occurred when the vessel was 1200 miles off the Spanish coast. Both sections of the ill-fated vessel are floating and two rescue ships are standing by awaiting daylight. The Inverlee picked up five members of the Mount Kyllene's crew.

The Mount Kyllene is a vessel of 5313 tons, her port of registry being Piraeus. She was built in England in 1919 and was formerly named the Hampton Hill and also the Comeric. She was fitted to burn oil fuel.
