YIELDS OF COMPANIES White's Electric (West Coast).—Return for week ended April < : 3Qoz. in 128 hours. Mossy Creek (West Coast).—33oz. Sihvt. from 6200 yds. in 99 hours. Blaekwater (Reefton). —Return for March: Crushed 4103 tons, yielding* 1.306 line ounces of gold, value, at £6 19s 6(1 a fine ounce, £10.303. Working expenses were £/532,' leaving a working profit, of £2971. Capital expenditure was £7975, and development expenses £725. HIGHER CANADIAN OUTPUT [FROM OCR OWN correspondent] OTTAWA, March 5 It was announced in the House of Commons that, according to a preliminary estimate, 4,054,799 fine ounces of gold were mined in Canada last year, a sharp increase over the 3,748,028 ounces produced in 1936. Exports of gold bullion, "other than monetary," reached a total of 3,030,042 ounces, and of gold-hearing quartz 211,359 ounces. BUNpi DREDGING The chairman of the Bundi Tin Dredging Company, N.L. (West Coast), Mr. W. A. Anderson, told shareholders at the aunual meeting that results of boring on the company's holdings in New Zealand appeared to be satisfactory. Four bores, of an average depth of 20ft., had been put down, and a roport on the gold values was being awaited from the School of Mines.
