KIWITAHI MEETING HORSE EVENTS A FEATURE HIGH STANDARD OF JUMPING [from omt OWN courkspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Sunday The Kiwitahi Sports Club's annual meeting was hold at Messrs. McDonald Brothers' property, seven miles from M'orrinsvilie yesterday. Over a thousand people attended, including many from Matamatu, Te Aroha and Hamiiton. The horse events attracted some of the principal showring horses of the Waikato, and the judge, Mr. E. Brown, of Cambridge, commented on the very I high standard of jumping. Recent J championship-winning horses were subI jeet to a handicap of points. Mr. H. I Clarkin's Valorous won the open hunter I competition, with Mr. S. Holmes' j Peter Pan second. Smith, and a large staff of officials, handled the extensive programme capably, and maintained the record of the Kiwitahi sports as one of the best for displays of horsemanship in the Waikato.
