[from OUfl. OWN coriikspoxdent] WHANGAREI, Sunday The balance-sheet of (lie "Whanparei Miniaturo Rifle Club, presented to the annual meeting of members, showed a small credit after a successful year. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. A. J. Murdoch: president, Mr. A. Higgins; vifce-prcsideni, Dr. H. L. Buckley; secretary and treasurer, Mr. M. Stewart; assistant, Mr. G. Robertson; committee, Mesurs. H. Davies, R. Jennings, R. Massey, Misii R. .Tones, with officers; arms officer. Mr. C. Baker; liandicappers and selectors, Messrs. L. Holmes, M. Stewart; auditor, Mr. D. Baird. The opening night was fixed for Monday, May O. The subscription will be 10s fid, with a charge of 6d„per night. It was decided that competitors may shoot off the sandbag but, upon attaining a score of 00 off the rifle, then they shall return to the elbow.
