INTERIOR DECORATION

UNIVERSITY LECTURE? COURSE FOR PUBLIC PLANNED Dealing with the fundamental principles of interior decoration, a course of 12 lectures is being offered to the public at a small fee by the School of Architecture in the Arts Building of Auckland University College. Lectures will extend from May 4 until the end of the second term on August 13.

With no bearing on the architectural degree, the course is designed for persons who are engaged professionally in any phase of decoraton and furnishing, as well as those interested in the subject and desiring a better understanding of the principles of decoration.* An understanding will be obtained of the problem of giving suitable character to particular backgrounds and of the means by which such character may be imparted.
