THE SCHOOL SLATE
The ancient" school slate, now considered obsolete, is being revived in Germany 4 to save paper. The education office has decreed that children during their first two years at school must use slates instead of exercise books. ; . A Germany's difficulty in paying for imports remains serious, ana bb wood or wood pulp for paper-making has to be imported, she has to cut down, tha use of paper as much as possible. ,*
