MUSIC LOVERS' CLUB

OPENING OF SEASON Tho rooms of the Overseas League were well filled on Thursday evening, when ths Music Lovers' Club held the first meeting of the season. A high standard of interpretation of tho musical programme was maintained. Each performer was introduced by the president, Mr. Walter Impett. Letters of appreciation of the work of the club from overseas patrons were read by the vice-president, Mr. A. E. F. Court.

The instrumentalists were Miss Gw.vnneth Coleman, Miss Marjorie Seel, who played pianoforte solos, and Mr. Norman Dimery, violinist. Vocal items were given bv Miss Alison Cooper, Miss Lorna Johnson, Miss Eileen Yeoman, Miss Vivienne Scott, Mr. Fred Blenkarn anil Mr. Alfred Porter. The accompanists were Miss Molly Cater, Miss Marjorie Seel and Mr. Walter Impett.
