LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
A meeting of the Ponsonby branch of the League of Mothers took place at the Jvo.vs Institute and was well attended. Mrs. S. 0, English who presided, spoke of her recent visit to country branches, having visited Waihi Tauriko, Tauranga, To Puke and Rotorua. The thought for the month was given by Mrs. Craig and Mrs. Scott sang enjoyable vocal items. Mrs. Hugh Kasper gave a most interesting talk on the Coronation. The now (secretary, Mrs. G. T. McLeod was welcomed No. 3 Remuera.—The monthly meeting of the branch was held in the North Memorial Baptist Church. The president, Mrs. P. D. Wright, presided. A very interesting travel talk was given by Mrs. Nello Porter. Songs were sung by Mrs. Piatt and afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Wigg and Slyfield.
