CHURCH CELEBRATIONS
REUNION AT MOUNT ALBERT As part of the semi-jubilee celebrations of tho Mount Albert Presbyterian Church a very largely attended reunion social was held in the church hall on Wednesday evening. The minister, the Rev. R. E. Evans, presided. A musical and elocutionary programme was presented and three anthems were rendered bv the choir. Messages of greeting and goodwill were brought from the Methodist Church by 1 the Rev. H. Sharp and from the Church of Christ by Mr. Wyatt, arid the Auckland Presbytery was represented by its moderator, the Rev. R. N. Alley. i\ir. J. C. Entrican, one of the senior elders,' replying to the messages of greeting, spoke of the beginnings of the congregation and the work of the first committee. The present session clerk, Mr. 1). Henry, referred to the present work of the congregation and emphasised what had been accomplished by the youth for Olifist campaign of lost week. A special children's gathering working tho 25th anniversary of the Sunday School was held last evening, and the celebrations will conclude with thanksgiving services and a Biblo class rally to-morrow.
