WOMEN'S PROGRESS CLUB
A bright programme of entertainment was presented at (lie weekly meeting of the Women's Progress Club, held yesterday afternoon. Mrs. T. G. Pearce presided. The president, Mrs. Charles Dickens, was welcomed on her return from an extended holiday four, through New Zealand. Items were given as follows: —Humorous monologue, Mrs, M. Stuart; a reading, Mrs. Chatwin; songs, Mrs. Probert;. anecdotes, Mrs. 10. I'aice; duet, Mrs. Probert and Mrs, Goldie. Community singing, led by Mrs, Collier with Mrs. Clnrkson as pianist was also enjoyed, Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Green, Deverick and Hubbert.
