PARKINS WINS LONG HEAD [from OUR OWN* correspondent] WHANG AREI, Saturday The Whangarei sheep dog trials were begun at Kamo yesterday, when competitors were present from the Waikato and all parts of North Auckland. Rain fell most of the day and the light-was bad. Mr. Colin Jones, of Tangowahinc, was judge. Results:— Long Head (30 entries). —A Parkins' King Koroki, 40 l / a points, 1: G. S. Mead's Wave, 40 points, 2; J. White's Mack, 30% points, 3; S. Newman's Kep, 39 points, 4.
