C. Levrey, S.M. Sub-Inspector Packer said a travel* ler went to the hotel to seek accommo* dation for two relatives and'was refused. Inquiries revealed that there • were no lodgers at the time. Apparently the difficulty was caused by the fact' that the housekeeper was away. i Counsel said it was an exceptional case. There were only two occasions in .? the last 12 months when accommodation at the hotel had been asked for. On the night when accommodation waa sought the housekeeper was absent under unusual circumstances.
