GOOD CATCHES IN NORTH BEST SEASON FOR LONG TIME [from our own correspondent] WHANG A RET, Tuesday Besides providing the North with brightest holiday weather that has been experienced for many years, this summer has proved to be one of the best from the fisherman's point of view. Fish have been plentiful on both coasts, and almost every we£k-end amateur fishermen have made good catches. Last week-end two enthusiasts landed 74 sclinapper in a little, over three hours' fishing. One man spent most of the time taking the fish the lines and baiting again. The fish were all of good average size, the heaviest, being 121b.
