ALLEGED ASSAULT
CHARGE DISMISSED Charged with assaulting James Machiri on February 22, Ernest Charles Edwards, ' labourer, aged 43 (Mr. Aekins), pleaded not guilty when lie app.eared in the Police Court, before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., vosterdaV. "T will not, convict you of this assault. as I believe you were pestered," said the magistrate, after hearing evidence. The charge was dismissed, but accused was ordered to pay costs.
