BENEFIT SOCIETY
The annual meeting of the Northern (New Zealand) District Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society was held at Botorua, The grand president, Mr. P. R. Franehi, reported that the funds held in the district amounted to £17,121, which represented a uubstantial increase since the last halfyearly meeting. Officers were elected as follows: — Grand president. Mr. V. A. Lorrigan; vice-grand president, Mr. T. Wallace; grand secretary, Mr. H. R. Hay; grand treasurer, Mr. H. W. .Ingusch; auditors, Messrs. T. J. G. Michie and S. T<. Corbett; trustees, Messrs. P. R. Franehi, P. E. Duffin, H. V; P. Meehan P. Graham.
