101 YEARS OLD

RESIDENT OF HASTINGS "STARTING TO LIVE AGAIN" [liy TELEGRAPH' —OWN CORRESPONDENT] HASTINGS, Tuesday The celebration of his 101st birthday was observed by Mr. George William Lines, of Hastings, to-day. Although disappointed that he is unable to read his newspaper, he is very much alert and takes long walks every morning.
