MACHINE-GUN TRAINING
NORTH AUCKLAND REGIMENT WHANGAREI MEMBERS' CAMP [FHOM OUR OWN COItItKSI'ONDENTj V.'HAXf.AREt Tuesday A camp was held by the Whangurei members of the North Auckland Regiment at the Whareora rifle range, Whangarei, 'during the week-end, when machine-gun and rifle training was undergone by the men. Training in night firing was also given. There was a demonstration on the method of loading a lorry with machineguns and equipment for transportation to the front line. The motor-cycle section practised revolver shooting.
