OUT OF THE BLUE
Most novels which concern missing jewels of ancient origin have an Indian background, but Mr Harold Ward, in his mystery story, "Tho Hlood of Buddha,'' opens with an American party and the discovery by one of the guests ol a murdered man with the valuable jewels known as "The Blood ol Buddha ' in his hands. There is no sign ol a seiiflle, and he has apparently dropped from the clouds. Mr. Ward, whose work for the cinema as a scenario writer is well known, makes the most of this opoi\ing, and gradually unfolds a startling story. /»t"']' lc V' 001 ' l,f Buddha," by Harold Ward.
