SUDAN UNITED MISSION

GARDEN PARTY AT TAKAPUNA A garden party and gift afternoon in connection with the Sudan United Mission was held 011 Saturday afternoon at the homo of Mrs. Mills, Earnoch Avenue, Takapuna. Two missionaries on furlough from tho Sudan, Mr. and Mrs. Adam London, were welcomed home. The chairman of the Auckland Council of the Mission, Mr. Yolland, and Mr. Keith Rimmcr made brief speeches and both Mr. and Mrs. London gave addresses dealing with their work. During the afternoon the sum of £74 was handed to Mrs. Mills, whose son. Mr. Wilfrid Mills, is one of the pioneer missionaries in the Sudan, having been there for 25 years.
