PIGEON RACING
WHANGAREI CLUB'S EVENTS [from our own correspondent] WHANCrAREI, Friday During tho week the Whangarei Honyng Pigeon Club decided two races. One was from Mercer and the other from Wellsford. Good weather favoured both events. From Mercer the results were:—A. Balfour, 1313 yds a min, 1; D. Wilson, IMOsyds, •_>; A. Stanton, 1208 yds, 3. The owners of the first three birds home front Wellsford were:—D. Wilson. »32yds a min, 1; A. Balfour, 023 yds, 2: B. Parkin. • Ul7yds, 3.
