LANCASHIRE SOCIETY
A social and dance was held by the Lancashire Society on Wednesday night. The chairman, Mr. X H. Smith, welcomed visitors and members, who included the president of the Westmoreland and Cumberland Society. Assisting; with the entertainment were "Messrs. Parkinson, sen.. Bond, Silver, C. Massev and Miss I. Jenkins. Hostesses for supper were Mesdames Cook, Gates, Dawson, Godsall, Gaughan and Miss Brassington.
