waitemAta society ' An attractive display of flowers and vegetables was presented in the Returned Soldiers' Hall at Northcote b.v members of the Waitemata Horticultural Society at the monthly points competition. Ihe awards of the judges, Messrs. D. P. O'Leary and A. IS. Harding, were as follows:—Mrs. A. U Shut.es, Miss J. Goddos and Miss 1?. ,Wilson, ten points; Mrs. A. Oklbary, Mrs. J Prickott, Mr. and Mrs. H. X. Leefe, nine points; Mrs. A Satrhell, Mrs. H. A. Campbell, Miss M. E. Shutes, Miss J. U. Collins, eight points; Mrs. A. Bishop, seven points. The special prize for the most curious flower*cxhibited- (known unbotanically as "Druid's board") was awarded to Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Leefe. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr. A. C. Pye for an interesting talk on "Liliums." "
