ROTORUA AND TAKAPUNA [by telegraph—OWN correspondent]| ROTORUA, Thursday The annual cricket and tennis contests betwoen the Takapuna Grammar School and Hotorua High School teams, which were com. menced yosterduy, were completed this afternoon. The weather on both days was ideal, and both contests were very keen In the cricket match, Takapuna scored 155 (Mills -11) and 148 (Mills 08). Rotorua compiled li t (Ewcrt 35) and l'_>o for the loss of three wickets (Ewcrt 51, Andrews 4(1 not out). The game was drawn. The Ttotorua school gecured its first, success in the tennis contests between the two schools by winning five rubbers against four, each school winning three of the six singles matches played to-day. OTAMUHU HIGH SCHOOL Tho annual athfetic sports of the Otahuhu Technical High School, which were postponed last Saturday, will be held to-morrow.
