AUSTRALIA AND DOMINION INVESTIGATION OF PROSPECTS [by TEi.EonArn—press association] CIIHISTCIIURCH, Thursday The possibility of arranging for a tour of the Dominion each year by Australian swimmers will bo considered by a committee set up at a meeting to-night of the council of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. This decision was made by the council after it had considered a report presented by the manager of the New Zealand swimming team at the fcmpiru Gaines, Mr. E. C'. Isaacs. Alore intensive swimming and more competition against overseas swimmers of world class were essential if the New Zealand standard of competitive swimming was to be substantially improved, said Mr. Isaacs, who suggested that an Australian team should bo invited to tour New Zealand each year, and that a Now Zealand team should visit Australia once in each two years.
