THAMES BELOW TILBURY PLAN BEING CONSIDERED (Received March 1, 11.15 p.m.) LONDON, March 1 The Air Ministry, the Port of London Authority and the City Corporation are examining proposals submitted by Air Commodore J. A. Chamier, secretary of the General Air League of Britain, for a seaplane base on the Thames, just below Tilbury, with an aerodrome alongside it on the Essex coast.
