TENNIS CLUB AT HOME

FUNCTION AT DEVONPORT An enjoyable afternoon was spent at Devonport yesterday when members of tho Devonport Tennis Club held an At Home for their friends and other club members. A progressive tennis tournament was played, the winners being:— A grade, Mrs. E. Badger; B grade, Mrs. M. Maisey. Afternoon tea was served on the lawn adjoining the tennis pavilion. The committee in charge of the tea arrangements comprised :—Mrs. A. B. Downing. Mrs. J. Hogan, Mrs. V. MncGregor, Mrs. F. F. Svenson. Miss K. Harty, Miss J. Gooding, Miss E. Blackburn, Miss M. Allison, and Miss M. Mason, convener. Among those present were:—Mrs. T. M. Pollard. Mrs. G. W. Worrall, Mrs M. Kay, Mrs. S. Shepherd, Mrs. R. Wood, .Mrs. I!. Davenie, Mrs. H. badness, Mrs. F.
