100 METRES RUN
JESSE OWENS' RECORD (Received February 28, 11.55 p.m.) PARIS, Feb. 'JS The Rules and Records Committee is recommending that the International Athletic Federation recognise as a world record Jesse Owens' time of 10.2 seconds for the 100 metres at Chicago in 1936. Owens and seven others at present are co-holders of the world record at 10.3 seconds.
