THE MINING MARKET BUSINESS OPENS QUIETLY STRONGER TONE AT CLOSE Although business opened quietly in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday support for several issues strengthened during tha day. Golden Crown, after a sale at 4s 3d, -,vere still wanted at the same price. AVaihi Investments lost ground on sale at 9s 8d and support weakened further during the day. Mount Morgans also gave way in two sales and were easier at the close. Interest in Broken Hill Souths and Mount Lyells improved during the day.
