CUTS IN SALARIES
MOTOR ORGANISATION (Received February 27, 5.5 p.m.) DETROIT, Feb. 26 General Motors have announced cuts of 10 per cent in the salaries of employees earning 10.000 dollars or less a year, and proportionately larger cuts in the salaries of those earning in excess of 10,000 dollars. The savings will total 10,000,000 dollars a year and affect 50,000 persons.
