MORRINSVILLE CLUB SOUND FINANCIAL POSITION [from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Sunday The balance-sheet of the Morrinsville Golf Club, to bo presented to the 27th annual meeting ne.it week, is one of the best ever produced by tho club, excess of income over expenditure being £BO 2s Sd. Tho balance of assets over liabilities is shown at £752 Is -Id. The results of tho championships were:— Senior ladies: Miss F. Hewitt; runner-up, Mrs. J. AV. Brown; junior ladies: Mrs. H. D. Hastie; runner-up, Miss G. Uniacke. Senior men: S. G. Cooper; runner-up, W. J. Foote; junior men: A. J. Shepherd; runnerup, F. Dickinson. Trophies were donated during the season by Mesdames W. S. Goosman, L. E. Pole, ,T. AV. Brown, J. L. Faulkner, J. Caulficld, D. T. Davies, Miss F. Hewitt, Miss A. Irvine, Messrs. AV. S. Goosman, W. Hetherington, J. L. Faulkner, T. J. Ryan, N. J. Howio, R. Somers, R. G. Hodges. A. Needham. The membership of tho club increased by 10 during the season and by 30 since 1935-30, the total being 132. WHAU VALLEY CLUB [from our OWN' correspondent] • WHANGAREI, Sunday Tho annual meeting of the Whau Valley 'Golf Club was well attended by members and \he balance-sheet submitted showed that the club was in a sound financial position, having a credit of £72, the last year's surplus biting £l2. \Officers elected were: —President, Mr. T. Ffazerhurst; vice-presidents, Messrs. M. Hendrickson, M. Ivokich; captain, Mr. O. Ge(»rgeson; secretary, Mr. A. Kay; treasurer, Mr, S. Price; committee, Messrs. AV. A'nughan, J. Council, G. Palairet, J. Cameron, L. Tucker; honorary auditor, Mr. Snoflgrass. , . _ , , The annual subscription was fixed as follows! Senior members, men, £2 7/-; ladies, £1 tO/(S; junior members, 10/-; honorary memhers, 5/-. Various other matters relating to the club were discussed beforo tho meeting terminated. PAPAKURA LADIES' CLUB A very successful past season was reported at tho annual meeting of the Papakura Ladies' Golf Club. The treasurer disclosed a good credit balance. Officers were elected as follows:—President Mrs E. D. McLennan; vice-pre-sidents. Mrs. H. Walters. Mrs. H G'ynhorp, Mrs. Watts; captain, Mrs. .T. French; uecaptain. Mrs. G. W.
