MANY GATHERINGS BAKING TRADE EMPLOYEES The annual picnic of the employees of the Auckland baking trades was held on Saturday at Motuihi Island, and was attended by •100 people. AUCKLAND MEAT COMPANY The Auckland Meat Company's picnic at Tui Glen yesterday was attended by about 500 people. A cup, presented by the firm for annual competition in the 100 yds championship, was won by Mr. Sligo, with Mr. Murdoch second and Mr. Fowler third.
