YACHT SAFE
COASTAL TRIP ABANDONED [BT TELEGRAPH —PB.KSS association] WELLINGTON, Thursday The alarm at the non-appearance of the Wellington yacht To Hangi at Lvttelton, which a Press Association telegram received in Wellington yesterday said was felt by Christchurch yachtsmen, is unnecessary, the vessel being safe in Wellington. Sailed singlehanded by Mr. H. F. Lamb, of Johnsonville, the 43ft. schooner left Wellington for Lyttelton on Tuesday of last week, but fog and calms caused the vessel to make poor progress and Mr. Lamb abandoned the voyage. He arrived back on Friday. A yacht believed to bo the Te Hangi was sighted off Lyttelton on Tuesday of this week, but it must have' been another craft.
