CLOUSTON'S FLIGHT
REPAIRS TO MACHINE; ANOTHER ATTEMPT SHORIHLY LONDON, Feb. 17 A message from Nicosia, Cyprus, states that Flying-Officer C'ouston's Comet will leave there for London in a few days to prepare for another attempt' to fly to New Zealand and back in JO days. The engineer who made the Comet ready for its last attempt, Mr. It. J. Cross, said the local repairs would take another three days. Tno Comet would then go to London for another oxam- . ination and overhaul, which would take three weeks. Wheh this was completed Mr. Clduston would pick the earliest and most favourable opportunity to begin his flight. Alter the Comet made its forced landing at Nicosia with a punctured tyre, Mr. Cross flew out from ICngland to expedite the repairs. l who was accompanied by Mr. Victor Rieketts, co-pilot, landed at Adana, Turkey, on February 0, after «• V v§° r OUB kufieting on their non-stop ■ .flight from England.
