PROGRESS SOMEWHAT TARDY WELLINGTON BOARD'S REQUEST [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday The Wellington Education Board decided to request the Department of Education to expedite any scheme for the advancement of visual and sound films as educational aids in schools. Speakers said progress in this respect in New Zealand had been somewhat tardy, and others said not much progress would 'be made with the installation of apparatus until the department made it clear how this was to be financed. Oirthis point they were still in the dark.
