TRAILER OVERTURNS
CAPSIZE ON HILL HORSES AND WOMAN INSIDE INJURED ON WAY TO SPORTS [by TELEGRAFH —OWN" correspondent] HASTINGS, Wednesday A well-known horsewoman of Waipukurau, Miss Peggy Hartland, was injured when she was thrown out of a, horse trailer on Pukeora Hill this morning. The trailer was drawn by a car driven by her father, Mr. C. F. Hartland. Miss Hartland was on the way to compete at the Takapau sports when the horses in the trailer became restive. She got into the vehicle to quieten them. At the top of the hill the trailer overbalanced, throwing Miss Hartland and two horses on to the roadway. Miss Hartland, suffering from a cut on one arm and bruises, was admitted to the hospital at Waipukurau for treatment.
