TAUPIRI DRAINAGE
TRANSFER OF. SCHEME BOARD TO PREPARE PLANS [JTSOM OUH OWN COiBBJBSPOXDENT] HAMILTON, Wednesday Almost all the drains in the Taupiri Drainage Board's scheme have now been handed over to the hoard by the Public Works Department, and in the future the board will be required to arrange for their maintenance. In thiis connection the board has considered it necessary to hare plans prepared of all drains in the area, with a complete registry. The clerk, Mr. R. P. Hazard, hsis already obtained from members of tie board and other sources a great deal of information regarding the various drains. He said to-day that he was now waiting for the Public Works Department to send further plans and details.
