ASSAULT DENIED
SALESMAN BEFORE COURT Charges of being disorderly while drunk in Dominion Road on Tuesday night, of assaulting Constable T. G. W. Bartlett, and of doing mischief by damaging a torch belonging to the constable, were brought against Herbert John Killcen, aged 25, a salesman, in the Police Court yesterday before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., Mr. Robinson represented accused, who pleaded not guilty to all charges. Applying for a remand, Sub-Jnspcc-tor Flanuagan said that further charges were pending. Accused was remanded until March 2, bail of £SO being allowed;
