POLITICAL ADDRESSES
MEETINGS IN- AUCKLAND A series of election addresses has been arranged for this afternoon and to-night by Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., Parliamentary Under-Secretary in Charge of Housing, and the Leader of the National Party, the Hon. A. Hamilton, who will arrive in Auckland by the limited express from Wellington this morning. Mr. Lee will address a public meeting in the Grey Lynn Library Hall this evening, when he will speak on the progress of the Government's housing scheme during the past two years. A women's meeting will be addressed by Mr. Hamilton in the Y.W.C.A. hall this afternoon, and to-night lie will speak at a meeting of members, friends and supporters of the National Party in the Foresters' Hall, Devonport. A meeting will be held to-morrow night in the Lewis Eady Hall, while on Saturday night Mr. Hamilton will visit Patumahoe. After spending the week-end in Auckland, Mr. Hamilton will return to Wellington 011 luesday.
