DIRECTOR'S RETIREMENT
[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday The director of the technical school division of the Education Department Mr. \Y. S. La Trobe, was farewelled at a function held at the Hamilton Technical High School yesterday. The principal, Mr. W. Eraser, expressed regret that Mr La Trobe was retiring, and said that the service was losing a most valuable official and an old and esteemed friend. Mr. La Trobe, in appealing to the staff to carry on the good work they' were doing, said the technical schools were of great importance to the Dominion's system of education.
