The weather in Hamilton yesterday was dull and overcast, but unless it is wet tho going should be in splendid order. On their running on the first day Sinking Fund, in spito of a rise of 91b., Grateful, Trilliarch, Star Artist and Alby should all have chances. Tip Toes is likely to improve and Bachelor King, who is also in the sprint, is in a class that should suit him. Day Wind should go well if started and Airam would only require to leave the barrier smartly to be very dangerous. Some who may be in demand are ALBY, BACHELOR KING, STAR ARTIST.

Improvement will be necessary from Wotan if he is to succeed. Kelly and Jonathan should run good races and Dark Shadow is likely to do better over the shorter distance than on the first day, when he was not well ridden.
