WRESTLING BOUT

WORLD TITLE MATCH BLOMFIELD AND NAGURSKI ARRANGEMENT NEXT MONTH COMING NEW ZEALAND SEASON The secretary of the New Zealand Wrestling Association has received cabled advice from America that "Lofty" Blomfield, tho New Zealand champion, was to have met Nagurski, holder of the world's title, in the first week in March. However, in view of tho injury Blomfield recently received through falling down a flight of Btairs, the contest between the pair has been postponed for a further two weeks. The date of the world title bout will be cabled to Wellington in due course, and a broadcast description of it will probably be relayed through tho four leading stations in the Dominion. According to information contained in the cable, Blomfield has had 32 matches in America without suffering defeat. His one drawn contest was that against Sandor Szabo. Followers of the sport in tho Dominion will bo interested to learn that throughout the coming season all professional matches will be of eight eightminute rounds instead of eight tenminute rounds as hitherto. This is tho practice in other countries and it has been found to speed up the contests very considerably. Advice has bteen received from Mr. Ted Thye, the well-known American Eromoter, to the effect that the memers of the team which will arrive in New Zealand next month are all very clean and fast workers.
