PAGEANT OF NATIONS
SYDNEY PERFORMANCE MAORIS' CONTRIBUTION (Received February 15, 1.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 14 The Pageant of Nations, one of the major spectacles of the 150 th anniversary celebrations, was , officially opened this evening in the Sydney Town Hall. A great audience enjoyed a three hours' musical spectacle, featuring the most picturesque tableaux, music, songs and dances of the nations of the world. The performers num-. bered 900. New Zealand's contribution comprised a party of Maoris in costume, who gave a cairbe poi. There was also a party of Samoan girls who provided a native dance. Both items were cheered. i
