EARL OF RANFURLY

ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND PLANS FOR FISHING .HOLIDAY With his term of service as aide-de-camp to the Governor-General of Australia, Lord Gowrie, completed, the Earl of Ranfurlv arrived in Auckland by the Awatea yesterday to spend a three weeks' fishing holiday in the Dominion, before returning to England. Born in 1913, the Earl is a son of the late Viscount Northland, who was killed in action in 1915, and is a grandson of the fifth Earl of Ranfurly. Pleasant recollections of the sport he enjoyed when he fished in New Zealand last year are retained by the Earl and he .said he was hoping for equal or even better success. At present he is at the Grand Hotel, but will leave shortly for Taupo. He will travel nex month to Honolulu, returning to England by way of the United States.
