CRUSHED BY EARTH FALL
WORKER IN HOSPITAL, ROADSIDE CLIFF GIVES WAY [from oub own cobbespondent] HAMILTON, Monday Crushed by a fall of earth at Te Airamutu to-day, Mr. A. G. Bambridge. aged 25, of Ohaupo, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital this afternoon suffering from spinal injuries, abrasions and shock. Mr. Bambridge was employed by the Public Works Department with a pick on the edge of a cliff at the side of the road when the cliff gave way. His condition is reported to have improved since his admisision.
